Now that Irrational Feelings Hour… I mean… Downton Abbey has wrapped its second series, I can only hold my breath until it comes back to me again. Sybil did lots of growing up this season. She wanted to do what she could in the war effort and became a nurse, becoming the first Crawley sister to leave the nest. She is fearless and headstrong and despite all the ways her sheltered life could have blinded her to the suffering of others, it proved to be the exact opposite. She is a giving soul and that is what I love most about her. Sure, Jessica Brown-Findlay is as pretty as sin, but that isn’t what makes Sybil so special. It is her heart.
